Although the location near the Sahara suggests that it may become very hot, but this
is not the case in the Cape Verde Islands.
There is no question of a "real" rainy season, although the period August to October
has the most chance of precipitation. With an average temperature of 27 degrees this
is also the hottest period.
The rest of the year it is cooler, with average temperatures of 22 to 24 degrees.
The sea temperature is fairly constant and varies from 20 degrees in winter to 24
degrees in summer.
